About Optim CEM

Optim CEM is the market-leading medical device asset-management application in the UK. It is available as either a traditional desktop application or as an Internet Explorer web application. Two licensing models are available: per-seat (where individual computers are licensed to run the application) or concurrent. With concurrent licensing CEM may be installed on any number of computers while the server controls how many users may be connected to the database at any one time.

A Detached Client option allows a copy of the database to be "checked-out" to a laptop. CEM can then run disconnected from the server, which is extremely useful for field service engineers. When the database is "checked-in", changes made when working remotely are merged with the server database.

CEM now integrates directly with the Ekahau RF Id tracking system so you can see where assets really are, and track where they have been.
